Yérë, the Maia of Love/Sexual Desire, never descended to Arda, because his Patron Valië chose not to desend. He was a bit pissed off about that, in truth. When he got to Órë, he spent a great deal of time partaking of the pleasures of the flesh. He is a vocal proponent of having hands-on experience. Unfortunately, he has never been able to persuade Vendórë to subscribe to this belief.
In fact, Yérë disagrees with his patron on a number of key points and is firmly of the belief that fidelity is over-rated.
